Hi, I’m Cynthia. Welcome to Bloom Therapy Services.

Deciding to start therapy is such an investment in your future self and wellbeing. For some people, starting therapy has been a long time coming and it's a relief to finally start the journey! For others, it can be a bit scary to take this first step. Whether you're ready to dive in or are feeling a bit nervous, know that I'm here to guide you through.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I firmly believe that we all have the capacity to grow. My goal is to give you a space to do just that, with intentionality and curiosity throughout. My therapy style is goal-oriented yet laid-back, with a touch of sarcasm sprinkled in. We'll work in collaboration to figure out what therapy goals fit your needs and get you on a path towards healing.

Get to Know Us…

Supportive and non-judgmental therapy is crucial for true growth. We fully believe it's our duty to provide an inclusive and safe therapy experience that honors your unique identity and experience.
Here's what that means:

  • We make a point to explore the intersectionality of your identities and lived experiences- because you are more than a diagnosis or list of symptoms.

  • We don’t ask about immigration status and will not document immigration status in your medical record.

  • We honor preferred names, preferred pronouns and other identify markers that matter to you. It is your choice whether they are documented in the medical record (or not).

  • We can collaboratively create your therapy notes and discuss what content is most important to include (all while ensuring that your medical record is created and stored in accordance with HIPAA and AZBBHE requirements).

  • We know that being an ally is a continuous process of learning and unlearning. This includes acknowledging privilege and staying informed about the ever-changing systemic inequalities that impact marginalized communities.
