Welcome to Bloom Therapy Services

Hola and welcome to the Bloom Therapy blog!

Mental health is a fundamental aspect of our overall well-being, and yet we all know how it hard it can be to prioritize therapy. While a blog is not a substitute for therapy, it can be an opportunity to feel more informed and inspired- with minimal effort. It’s also a great starting point if you’re considering therapy in the future.

Every few weeks, I plan to share information on mental health issues and therapy-related topics. Ultimately, I hope this blog reflects how laid-back and approachable therapy can be, all while providing a safe and informative space.

If you are new to therapy and/or are looking to start that journey- congratulations on giving yourself the support and care you deserve! Feel free to use this blog to get an idea of the types of things that get covered in therapy. And every time you check in, you’ll get to know me and my therapeutic style a bit better.

If you’re someone who’s already been in therapy- with me or someone else- I commend you for continuing to prioritize your mental health! As I’m sure you know, self-development is a lifelong process and not always linear. I hope this blog can play a small role in enhancing your ongoing progress and goals.

Topics on the Horizon

The goal for this blog is to cover a range of topics that often come up in the course of therapy. Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s on the horizon:

  • Self-Care Strategies: And not in the cliché way. I’ll share practical yet refreshing ways to give yourself a bit more care as you go through your day.

  • Book, Podcast and Movie/Show Recommendations: There are so many uplifting and life-changing stories out there. I’ll be sharing recommendations of content you can connect with and maybe get the perspective-shift you’ve been needing.

  • Finding Gratitude and Joy: Especially lately, so many struggle to connect with their joyful self in an authentic way. I’ll review ways to practice gratitude… without all the toxic positivity.

  • Deciphering “Pop Therapy”: Everyone seems to be talking about narcissists or trauma lately, but what does that actually mean? I’ll break down popular and “buzzy” topics you may (or may not) have heard of.

  • Therapist Insights: Do you ever wonder what your therapist is thinking? Or wish you had a “cheat sheet” for what to expect in certain therapy experiences? I’ll provide honest perspectives from a therapist’s point of view so you can get the best experience in your own sessions.

Come Back Soon!

Stay tuned for upcoming posts and remember: it is never too late to seek help or to begin nurturing your mental health. Here's to a journey filled with growth, self-discovery, and connection!

Buena suerte y buenas vibras :)

-Cynthia
